We got a free voucher to stay at the Palace of Golden horses and the timing was perfect as it was near our wedding anniversary. I was so excited to take a break and chill out at the hotel. My expectations was high with regards to the service at the hotel since it being a 5-star hotel. I must say that I was a tad disappointed with the service – far from being a 5-star hotel, I must say. However, the buka puasa buffet dinner at the Carousel Restaurant was impressive. All in all, we had a good time – away from KL, sumptuous dinner, comfortable bed – a divine combo.
