Alfred turned 34 today and we celebrated his birthday at our Subway store. It was a surprise party graced by family and friends. Alfred expressed his gratitude and said that he is grateful for all life’s blessings and most importantly he is happy to be healthy and alive. At times like this, we pause and reflect on how kind life has been to us. Just by being alive and being able to do the things you love doing is a great blessing.
I baked his favorite cake : orange almond cake with buttercream frosting. I was so content at seeing everyone savor and enjoy the cake. It always makes my day 🙂
