We didn’t know that Svadhi is a fan of birds until we visited the KL Bird Park recently. Normally an insect as small as the ant will set her off screaming. And she’s not too fond of our pet dog, Sena as well. That must have been because she was pounced on by Sena once. At the bird park, she was practically going after the turkey and stork. She was oblivious to the fact that she could get pecked by these birds. She was so thrilled to feed the birds and stopped right after one pecked her tiny little fingers. After that, she was more wary but that didn’t stop her from running after them. We spent a good 30 minutes or so just sitting by the fish pond where Svadhi kept busy feeding the fishes.
The wide species of birds flying around freely in a natural and beautifully landscaped enclosure was enthralling. KL Bird Park is touted as being the world’s largest walk-in free-flight aviary in the world. The park is well-maintained and clean. We certainly look forward to visiting the park again.
