My favorite part of the day is dinner time with my family. It’s a time where we sit together as a family over home-cooked meal with jazz music in the background. As we tuck into our meal, we say a silent prayer of gratitude. Nothing like the dinner-time bond we share as a family especially when it’s home-cooked food. Nourishing our body with meals prepared with love. It’s a sacred family time.
Svadhi often doesn’t eat well outside as she does at home. She truly enjoys the food I cook for her. As I watch her tiny-toothed smile, cheeky grin, and excited hand-flapping action accompanying “Mmmm!”, deep inside, I know that I have given her the best gift I can.
