My insights into my yoga practice:
Build strength first. Don’t worry about striking a pose perfectly. You will perfect it along the way. The first key step is to strengthen your core muscles first: your arm strength, abdominal or the core muscles and the leg muscles. Once you have strengthened these muscles with daily yoga practice, you will find that you will be able to strike the poses with much ease and grace. It will come naturally. The initial phase of developing the strength and flexibility when you are new to yoga is quite challenging. Listen to your body and allow it to take you to where it is comfortable with. Persevere and watch your practice turn into a graceful sequence of movements while staying connected to the body, mind and spirit.
