After a good morning yoga session, one of the things I look forward to the most is indulging in a glass or two of freshly blended smoothies. The wonderful part of smoothies is that you get to retain all the fibers of the fresh produce. A big jug of freshly blended smoothies cleans the bowel and keeps me satiated for the rest of the morning. It is so refreshing and nourishing. I feel energized, clean and ready to tackle the day 🙂
The recipes for the smoothies:
1. Banana dragon-fruit smoothie:
- 2 bananas
- 1/2 dragon-fruit
- 3 tbsp yoghurt
- Fresh milk
- Ice cubes
2. Papaya dragon-fruit smoothie:
- Cubed papayas
- 1/2 dragon-fruit
- 3 tbsp yoghurt
- Water
- Ice cubes
3. Star-fruit watermelon orange smoothie:
- Star-fruit
- Orange slices, deseeded
- Chilled watermelon slices
4. Dragon-fruit watermelon spinach smoothie:
- 1/2 dragon-fruit
- Handful of spinach leaves
- Chilled watermelon slices
- 2 tbsp yoghurt
- Splash of fresh milk
5. Banana orange papaya spinach smoothie:
- 2 bananas
- 2 oranges, deseeded
- Frozen papaya slices
- Handful of spinach leaves
- Splash of fresh milk
6. Orange banana dragon-fruit spinach smoothie:
- 2 oranges, sliced and deseeded
- 2 bananas
- 1/2 dragon-fruit
- Handful of spinach leaves
- 3 tbsp yoghurt
- Splash of fresh milk

9. Cucumber orange apple papaya smoothie:
- Organic cucumber
- Orange slices, deseeded
- Apple slices

- 2 tbsp organic chia seeds
- Splash of fresh milk
