Workout routine

IMG_0261As far as I could remember, I’ve always been on the search for a workout routine which I would stick for a very long time. I’ve tried running, brisk walking, swimming, strength training and aerobics. Then I found yoga. It then became a part of my lifestyle. When I practice yoga, not only am I strengthening and toning my physique, but I become aware of my breath and practice mindfulness meditation at the same time. Yoga is touted not only for its physical benefits, but also for its spiritual practice. Hence it’s meaning: the union of mind, body and soul. I find mental clarity and a serene energy filling my being after every practice. Yoga enables me to stretch my limits in the physical and spiritual realm. I have embraced yoga into my life. That’s the best decision I’ve made for my body, mind and soul. Every day is a journey of self-discovery.
