As we drove this evening, we saw dark clouds looming at the horizon sending messages of impending rain and storm. There’s a night market at my mom’s place today. The storm clouds caused people to fasten their pace. The wind was a therapy to my soul. My 4-year old daughter and I sat at the garden and watched people scurrying and packing their trade items before the rain falls. The traders must have been frustrated for the rain has affected their income for the day. I searched for any visible signs of frustrations on their faces but could not find any. They went about as if on auto pilot mode.
Times like this fills me up with gratitude. To sit in nature with my child. To admire the beauty of our surroundings. To teach my child the beauty of the present moment. Simple things like this are priceless.
