Alfred has been raving about the lemak tempoyak that he had at Aunty Aini’s garden cafe with his colleagues some time ago. Ever since that I have been craving to try that dish. We were supposed to attend a wedding in KL that day but at the very last minute decided that we will attend the reception at Senawang. The traffic was bad so we took a detour. As we were passing by Nilai, I asked Alfred to show me the garden cafe. And before we knew it, we were sitting in a cozy garden sampling their signature dishes – Tempoyak ikan jenahak and Gulai ayam kampung. It was superb! Though it was scorching hot outside, it was nice and cool inside because of the garden concept. The whole place was very well maintained and it exudes a warm and comfortable feeling whilst dining. I would rate it 5/5 for its food and ambiance. I would definitely go back again.
