Scene 1:
I informed her about the burglary that took place in her friend’s apartment. To which she exclaimed: “Why the naughty people want to take money from their place? Can go bank and take what”. “Bank got lots of money what“. “Why never go bank and take the money?” And then she thought for a while and said “Next time they must keep the money in the bank“. Yes, kiddo that’s a very good lesson for all of us.
Scene 2:
When I finished the cup of drink thinking that she no longer wants it, she said “Amma eat a lot, see la wait you become gundu (meaning fat)”. “Appa already gundu, can eat a lot”. Good observation of cause-and-effect kiddo!
