Tonight:
We read a book on sharks
Her eyes wide in amazement
We cuddled ready to go to bed
She narrated me the story of the shark
I fell asleep in her embrace
Tonight is one of the many nights to be remembered
For I felt sheer joy being in her embrace
Listening to her cute voice
Her sweet scent
Soft skin
And feeling her warmth
Tonight is a night I’ll never forget
I was fully present
In her company
Slept like a baby
With my baby
