A good movie stirs our emotions, transports us to another time and place, and widens our perspective. Labor Day is a beautiful movie on love and relationship. The emotions are beautifully captured. Kate Winslet’s acting was superb! The emotions were so well portrayed so much so we became swept by it throughout the entire movie. A movie that touched us deeply as a couple.
This is by far the best romantic drama I’ve watched. It reminded us on what matters the most. The bond we share with our spouse or partner. To love and be loved. A reminder that love need not be expressed in a pompous way. Just simple acts of spending time together by making peach pies, having a dance over the wood-fire and sitting for hours talking to each other. Thinking about the movie sends a warm feeling in my heart. A beautiful movie to watch with your other half.
