Go with the flow. Don’t allow thoughts to come in and disrupt the flow.
Yoga is all about flow. When you stop in between poses and allow thoughts to enter, the flow is disrupted and every other pose after that becomes a struggle. Yoga is not about struggle. It’s supposed to be a smooth flow, much like a dance or a river flowing downstream.
When I go from one pose to another without giving thoughts any space, the pose becomes easy and I started going with the flow of my body and breath. It becomes a joyous experience. When I allow myself the luxury of a thought, it then turns into hesitation and it talks me out from performing the pose with grace and ease.
That’s what I discovered this morning during my yoga practice. Smile and go with the flow.
